Why People Are Stupid (And You Might Be Too)
This Guy is "Down with the Thickness"
“Why are people so stupid?” It seems every time you scroll through your Facebook news feed, one of your friends has posted some clever meme echoing this sentiment. I mean, who can blame them? People cut you off in traffic. Teenagers are so busy texting, they actually run into stuff and nobody can remember a telephone number anymore. Why bother? It’s right there in your phone!
Before you accuse everyone else of being stupid, maybe you are too. Now before you get mad, most people are a little slow these days. I am. I’ll be the first to admit it. When I use the word “stupid”, I’m not talking about people with low IQs or diagnosable mental handicaps. I’m talking about the everyday, lack-of-common sense dumbness that has become the general population.
So what causes it?
You Weren’t Born Stupid – You Were Made That Way
Stop and think for just a moment about the environment you live in. What was the last thing you ate? What was the last program you watched on television? Are you taking any medications? You weren’t born confused, brain-fogged, and lost. You were made that way by the environment you live in every day.
Here’s what’s happening:
Fox News Discusses Chemtrails
1. Dumb is in the Air
The next time you’re outside and a jet plane is flying overhead, look up. See those long white things trailing behind it? You may have thought you were looking at contrails; trails of condensed water seen as a small white streak in the sky. If the trail is small, even, and disappears quickly, it’s a contrail. If it’s bright white, large, patterned, and hovers in the sky long after the aircraft is gone, however, it’s a chemtrail and it’s making you stupid.
Retired neurosurgeon Dr. Russell Blaylock has done extensive research on these chemtrails and has come to a frightening conclusion: Chemtrails contain aluminum nanoparticles that, once inhaled, pass along the olfactory neural tracts and go directly to the part of the brain most susceptible to the development of Alzheimer’s disease.
In addition to Alzheimer’s, aluminum has been shown to cause learning impairment, behavioral disorders, memory loss, and mood swings.
It’s hard to avoid the affects of chemtrails but there is something you can do about what you’re breathing in your immediate environment. The cleaning products and cosmetics you use everyday can easily be making you dumb as a post (or at least distracted enough to walk into one).
Neurotoxins are synthetic chemicals that damage your brain and nervous system and store-bought household cleaning products and cosmetics are full of them.
For example:
- Formaldehyde
Formaldehyde is a neurotoxin and Class A carcinogen. It is often found in a wide range of cleaning products, including furniture polish.
- Fragrance
Synthetic fragrance can be found in everything from air fresheners to lipstick. It has been shown to disrupt the function of the entire nervous system.
- Xylene
Loss of memory can be attributed to the xylene found in stain remover, ironing aids, and floor polish.
- Methylene Chloride
Methylene chloride is usually found in chemical solvents and can cause learning, behavioral, and memory impairment.
- Lead
Lead is potent neurotoxin often found in cosmetics, namely lipstick. Lead is a particularly dangerous neurotoxin because it mimics and inhibits the actions of calcium. The body absorbs and distributes it as though it were calcium, all the while blocking its uptake.
- Mercury
Mercury isn’t just found in vaccines and dental fillings; it has also been found in lotions and cosmetics. This deadly neurotoxin causes neuron degeneration, which can affect coordination, memory, and learning.
- Dyes
The synthetic dyes used to make your favorite cosmetic products look “pretty” should be avoided. Synthetic dyes have been shown to have a toxic effect on the brain and nervous system, altering behavior and causing learning impairment.
2. Neurotoxins in Every Bite!
The Standard American Diet (SAD) is making people dumber and dumber by the decade. Highly-processed food-like products contain synthetic dyes, preservatives, additives, and sweeteners that wreak havoc with your brain and body.
One of the worst offenders is aspartame. Aspartame is a synthetic sweetener found in gum, candy, diet soda, and even some yogurt that has been clinically-proven to cause serious neurological damage.
Sucralose (Splenda) and Ace-K are two other neurotoxins that have recently made their way onto the scene since aspartame has gotten such bad press. Both synthetic sweeteners are just as damaging to your health as the original.
Food dyes like Red #40 and Yellow #5 have both been shown to interfere with healthy brain and neurological function. Both have been associated with ADHD, hyperactivity, and other learning and developmental problems in young children.

3. In Reality, TV Makes You Dumb
Apparently, stupidity is contagious. In a recent study, participants were asked to read a story about a man with low intelligence who gets drunk, gets into a fight, and passes out, sleeping through the next day. Afterwards, participants were asked to take a test and scored poorly as compared to participants who read a narrative about other characters with no mention of intellectual ability.
Watching reality television can have unintended consequences for the viewer, causing them to behave and speak in ways out of character for them. This phenomenon is called “media priming” and it’s slowly dumbing down the population in a pretty scary way. With enough media priming, viewers run the risk of becoming permanently assimilated into these disturbing new behaviors and ways of thinking.
4. Minty Fresh Stupidity
Brushing your teeth is also making you stupid thanks to fluoride. Even if you do brush with fluoride-free toothpaste, you’re still getting it in your drinking water. Up to 60% of America’s water supply is fluoridated and it’s having a profound and lasting impact on neurological health and development. Studies have shown that fluoride has been shown to contribute to lowered IQ, developmental delays, autism, mood swings, and impaired motor skills.
5. Too Stressed to Think
In the 21st century, most of us burn the candle at both ends and it’s having a dramatic affect on our ability to think and process information. Research has shown that both adults and children exposed to chronic amounts of stress have fewer brain cells than their calmer counterparts.
6. Heavy Consequences for Your Brain
You may have heard that obesity can cause physical health problems like diabetes, breathing problems, and erectile dysfunction but did you know being fat can also make you dumb? Studies have indicated that obesity alters brain function, leading to impulsive behavior, loss of memory, and increased risk of dementia.
7. Drugged and Compliant
Are you on a prescription medication? If not, than you are definitely in the minority. One of the top reasons people are so stupid is they’re on drugs that make them that way. Everything from allergies to insomnia has some kind of synthetic pill associated with it and doctors prescribe them by the bushel!
In 2011 alone, a staggering 4.02 billion prescriptions were written in the United States! Memory loss, dementia, suicidal thoughts and actions, learning impairment, and impulse control are just a few of the side effects associated with many prescription medications.
8. Your Brain Now Lives Outside Your Body
We may have SmartPhones but that doesn’t mean we’re getting smarter. Far from it. We really don’t have to think critically anymore. If we have a question, we can look it up online or, better yet, ask an artificially intelligence called “Siri”. There’s nothing wrong with using this type of technology to answer a quick question but if we don’t balance it out with a good piece of non-fiction or a crossword puzzle every once in the while, our brain cells are going to die by the truckload. Your brain is an organ but think of it as a muscle. If you don’t use it regularly, it will become weak and atrophied.
Okay, again, you’re not stupid. Not really. Think of it this way; it’s as though your brain is sitting in a piece of black gauze that you slowly need to unravel. Start doing that right now by increasing your awareness and changing some of your dietary and lifestyle habits. The next time somebody asks you why people are so stupid, refer them to this article. Knowledge is power. So is love. Love yourself enough to crawl out of the darkness and into the light. And while you’re at it, take a few friends.
